Greg “Olskool Ice-Gre” Lewis had dreams of establishing his own business since he was in grade school but did not act on those thoughts until he was an undergraduate at Jackson State University. Upon graduating, and only two years into corporate America, he co-founded his very first entertainment company, 4 The Soul-Reciprocity Inc. Based in his hometown of Chicago, the company represented a few talented locals. Later as a resident of Los Angeles, California, he established the full-service multi-media entertainment, management, and production company Honest Management LLC. The company has contributed to notable projects such as the Netflix documentary “She Did That” and the Revolt TV discovery show “In A Session” where Lewis was brought on board as a Producer. He is also the voice of a new genre conceived and cultivated called Adult Contemporary Hip Hop. In 2022, Lewis wrote a proposal to the Recording Academy to expand the Rap/HipHop category at the Grammys. As a voting member of the academy, he submitted his proposal in 2023 as well as 2025. In both cases it was heavily considered (even advanced to the board of trustees in 2025) but ultimately was passed on. Not one to accept defeat, Lewis also submitted his proposal to The Hollywood Independent Music Awards in 2023 and his vision was realized. The HIMAs immediately integrated Lewis’s idea of expansion into the awards show and he had the honor of giving away the very first award for Adult Contemporary Hip Hop in 2023. A year later, Greg was presented with an invitation to join the HIMA Advisory Board. Honest Music and Honest Media, both legal d/b/a operating under the Honest Management LLC umbrella, offers a variety of services as well as original content creation. The latest being a short film documentary completed in 2025 titled Still Paying…An Abstract European Experience which can be viewed as the follow-up to the 2021 full length docu-film We Paid Let Us In! The Legend of Abstract Mindstate. The latter was accepted into various Film Festivals in 2022 as “Feature Documentary,” including the Love & Hope International Film Festival in Barcelona, Spain. Lewis is the Producer and Executive Producer of both films respectively. A partnership was formed with longtime collaborator and friend DJ Self Born. The result of this merger is the Miami-based company G2 Productions. Together they’ve collaborated on the ep titled 2 Weeks In The Penthouse by artist/producer/engineer Day Underscore and the first installment of the four part Adult Contemporary Hip Hop ep series by Olskool Ice-Gre titled “Yall Ready For Some Hip Hop? Three music videos were shot and directed by the pair to accompany the ep. New developments with both HM and G2 are in the works.
